Symscape announce the release of SymLab (v2.0.1), which includes the world's first automated simulation telemetry system for posting images to TwitPic and posting associated messages (tweets) to Twitter. This new feature is useful if you want to check on the progress of a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation while you are away from your simulation's host machine and you have access to Twitter. It is also a great way to share CFD simulation progress with other colleagues on Twitter in real-time.
The new TwitPic and Twitter integration is available through the following SymLab add-ons:
- Professional
- RANS Flow
- Transient
See "Telemetry Posting to TwitPic and Twitter" on how to configure the automated TwitPic and Tweeter posting for your simulations.
Also included in this update is the ability to capture movies (.avi) for multiple windows (e.g., View Window, Plot Window, Monitor Window) simultaneously.
Existing SymLab users will receive this update free through our automated update system. New users are welcome to try these enhancements with our free 30-day trials.
